Service Detail

• Full calling points with live delay status at each stop
• Visual timeline — past stops, current station, and upcoming stops shown at a glance
• Train formation and per-coach loading levels where provided by the operator
• Cancellation and delay reasons from National Rail
• Interactive route map with a polyline for the full journey
• Split service support — trains that divide at a junction shown with separate branches
• Long-press any calling point to open departures, arrivals, or station info for that stop

Filtering

• Filter any board to show only trains calling at or originating from a specific station
• Quick-filter shortcut via long-press context menu on any service row
• Save filtered boards as favourites for one-tap access to your regular routes
• Recent Filters section on home screen for fast re-application

Favourites

• Star any board — including filtered boards — to add it to favourites
• Next departure time shown on each favourite card, refreshed every 60 seconds
• Tap the departure time pill to jump straight to that service's detail view
• Split-flap animation on favourite cards when new data arrives
• Export and import favourites as a JSON file for backup or transfer between devices

Auto-Load on Launch

• Four modes: Disabled, Nearest Station, Nearby Favourite, or Favourite then Nearest
• Configurable distance threshold for favourite-based modes (1–50 miles)
• Priority controlled by favourites list order when multiple stations are in range

Station Information

• Facilities, accessibility, parking, and opening hours for every station
• Map link opens in Apple Maps or Google Maps — your choice

URL Schemes

• Open any board, station info sheet, or specific service directly from Safari, Shortcuts, or any app that supports custom URLs

• Split-view layout on iPad — browse stations on the left, view a board on the right simultaneously
